Invention of the Linear Kinetic Cell
LKC was invented in 1978 by Larry Shroyer. Larry had spent years marketing electrostatic water systems for various companies. The equipment he was trying to sell required expensive and time-consuming monthly service calls and continuous maintenance.
Larry knew there had to be a better way, so he began testing a new design, which eventually became the Linear Kinetic Cell.

The LKC is an electromagnetic induction coil system, designed to be virtually maintenance-free.
And it works without chemicals!
Larry first called on industry contacts who allowed him to install various prototypes of the LKC in their plants.
Twenty-four months of continuous in-plant testing was conducted to determine the feasibility of the induction coil technology. Every application proved successful. LKC was proven to outperform other non-chemical water treatment devices.

The Linear Kinetic Cell was built to work in boilers on drilling rigs and in commercial & industrial buildings.
The LKC uses electromagnetic energy to change the molecular structure of water and the minerals suspended in it, calcium, magnesium etc. The minerals polarize into positive and negative charges, causing them to chain up and remain in suspension, which prevents scale from forming on the equipment.
